Sam The Woo cares about three things: ferocious joy, genre-blending tracks, and kick-ass community. Here’s the story: Sam the Woo grew up in on a llama farm in northern CA, but found herself in NYC to attend the prestigious Pace University drama program for what would be 3.5 years. When Sam The Woo left that program with one semester to go, it was because she was burning with a plan and a passion for music. Now, STW produces, writes, and performs a genre-blending style of pop (with influences from Jazz, Funk, Country, Motown and Alt-pop) that displays the breadth of her creativity. Sam The Woo creates immersive worlds with her music and visuals and, as an avid performer, brings audiences a stunning electric live show that invites community and connections to form. Her debut EP "Hungry Appetite" will be released in October.
